When false witnesses recount their actions, one of the clearest signs of their lies is the inconsistency of their own words. They fear reasoned debate; that's why they flee from it. They demand submission through blind faith, because reason will never defend them. They demonize their critics, attack those who speak coherently, but never refute their arguments, because they know they are irrefutable. Thinking about whether it's truly possible to walk on water makes you doubt, and doubt—according to them—separates you from God. Thus, they teach you not to think, to believe without reason. Because a mind that doesn't question obeys… and one that obeys without thinking is the easiest to deceive. Nor will I accept the slander that says they conceived impure thoughts, like those in Matthew 5:11 and 1 Timothy 4:1-6, where they are accused of promoting the consumption of foods that God called unclean and forbade forever, such as pork, shellfish, or bat meat. Nor will I allow people to believe lies like those in Luke 23:34 and Ephesians 3:7, which tell us that the righteous loved their enemies and died preaching undeserved love. There is a direct contradiction between Acts 7:57–60 and Revelation 6:9–10, because one of the two is the lie of their enemy. Athena’s Spell: A Betrayal Between Shadows and Jealousy
Athena, a woman accustomed to conquering whoever she wanted, always managed to attract men with just a smile or an intense look. However, her world was shaken when she met Gabriel, a university student loyal to his girlfriend, Nieves. For Athena, the rejection was an unexpected blow, and her wounded pride awakened in her a desire for revenge. She decided to use dark methods to destabilize Gabriel and Nieves’ relationship, taking advantage of the magic she relied on to achieve her ends.
Athena devised a meticulous plan: she used her own sweat as an element of the spell and placed it above her name on a university group work list, on which the names of four classmates appeared: Samael, Gabriel, Lila and Athena. Upon seeing the list, Nieves felt a strange connection with Athena’s name. Jealousy began to consume her for no apparent reason. Soon, she became obsessed with the idea that Gabriel had hidden feelings for Athena, even though he swore to her over and over again that this was not true.
Every day, Nieves’ jealousy became more unbearable. She harassed Gabriel with questions and even began to investigate everything about Athena, as if unraveling her secrets could free her from the anguish she felt. In her desperation, she even threatened to kill Athena if she ever discovered an infidelity. Gabriel, unable to understand the intensity of Nieves’ reaction and knowing that he was faithful, tried to calm her down and postponed a breakup to prevent the situation from getting worse.
It was over twenty years until Gabriel, reflecting on past events, understood the truth behind Athena’s malice and the spell that had affected his life. Now, with clarity and new strength, he set out to pay Athena back for what she had done to him, seeking justice for the deep wounds he had suffered in his youth.
